Guide to inflating your inflatable paddle board.
Congratulations on purchasing your inflatable paddle board! Here's a simple guide to help you inflate it.
Step 1
Unroll your inflatable paddle board.
Assemble the pump, making sure to secure the hose.
2nd step
Open the valve cap and make sure the valve shaft is in the vertical position.
If not, lightly press the valve and turn it to the upright position.
Step 3
Connect the pump to the valve by turning it clockwise.
Step 4
Adjust the pump.
The dual-action pump with a twist cap is designed to easily inflate your board. It allows air to be blown up and down.
Once you reach about 10 psi of pressure, remove the twist cap to make inflation easier by blowing air only on the way down.
Step 5
When the pressure reaches 18 PSI (minimum 15 PSI), disconnect the pump from the board and screw the cap onto the valve, making sure to tighten it properly.
Note that on hot and/or sunny days, the recommended pressure is 13 PSI during use and 8 PSI when taking a break and the board is not in use.
Step 6
- To be ready to hit the water, there are a few other steps to follow:
- - Attach your ankle strap;
- - Adjust the length of your paddle.
If you want a quicker way to inflate your board, you might consider purchasing an electric pump such as "The Wild Tribe" which you can plug into a 12V outlet.
Now, take full advantage of your inflatable paddle board and have fun! 🙂
