Manufacturing Warranty Terms & Conditions

Our manufacturer's warranty on our products is governed by these terms and conditions.

 

General:

  1. The reception of the board is based on the tracking information from the delivery company that delivered your package. This information can be found on the delivery company's website using your tracking number.

 

  1. In these terms and conditions, "the board" refers to the inflatable paddle board.

 

  1. It is possible to substitute an in-store visit for a warranty service with a delivery. The delivery to the store will be covered by Québec SUP for up to 60 days after receiving the product. After 60 days, the substitution will be at the customer's expense.The seller initially issues an invoice to the customer for the delivery service to obtain the product from the customer and return the product to the customer. Once paid by the customer, the shipping label is transferred to the customer for sending the goods to the seller for warranty service.

 

  1. Aesthetic defects upon reception Goods included:
    Scratch(es), scrape(s), cut(s), stain(s), and any other similar aesthetic defects. Also includes any aesthetic defects on the product or its components that may be caused by external force and do not prevent the proper functioning of the product.
    As sports items are highly susceptible to minor and moderate aesthetic defects due to their nature of use and for reasons of responsible consumption in order to reduce our ecological footprint. We do not allow product exchanges except for aesthetic defects that we deem major.
    1. On the board
      1. Any aesthetic defects must be reported to the sellers within 48 hours of receiving the board.
        1. Any minor aesthetic defects on the board are not eligible for warranty.
          1. Moderate defects reported within 48 hours:
            1. $30 compensation
          2. Major defects reported within 48 hours:
            1. $60 compensation or;
            2. a replacement at our expense
          3. If reported within 48 hours or more, no compensation or indemnity will be granted.
        2. On accessories
          1. Any aesthetic defects on accessories must be reported to the sellers within 48 hours of receiving the order.
            1. Any minor aesthetic defects on accessories are not eligible for warranty.
            2. Moderate defects reported within 48 hours:
              1. Compensation of 25% of the value of the accessory
            3. Major defects reported within 48 hours:
              1. 50% compensation of the accessory value
              2. A replacement of the accessory at our expense
            4. If reported within 48 hours or more, no compensation or indemnity will be granted

     

    1. Missing accessories In the inflatable paddle board set upon receiving the merchandise: Our inflatable paddle boards come with several accessories for their use. These accessories may vary in product type, shape, packaging, etc.
      1. Missing accessories must be reported to the sellers within 48 hours of receiving the board.
      2. If reported within 48 hours, we will return the missing accessory at no cost
      3. If reported within 48 hours or more, the customer will have to proceed with the purchase of the missing accessory and pay for its delivery.

     

    1. Product perforation: The manufacturer's warranty covers perforation only upon receipt of the goods. No other perforation beyond the 48-hour deadline following receipt is eligible for the manufacturer's warranty.
      1. These perforations must be reported to the sellers within 48 hours of receiving the board.
        1. If mentioned within 48 hours, two options are available to the customer:
          1. Compensation of $75 or;
          2. A replacement of the accessory at our expense
        2. If reported within 48 hours and more, no compensation or indemnity will be granted.The customer is still eligible for a repair service at our offices at a reduced price of $15 per "patch".

    7.At any time, no item is eligible for warranty if the customer has attempted to repair the manufacturing defect themselves without contacting the company and obtaining their agreement to proceed with the repair beforehand. Our team will inspect the item upon receipt to determine its eligibility for warranty.

     

     

    Eligible for accessories*:

    Accessories are not covered by the same warranty as the inflatable paddle board. Accessories are eligible for a 6-month manufacturer's warranty under the following terms:

    1. Broken accessories
      1. All damages on accessories that cannot be caused by an external force.
        1. If reported inthe first 3 monthsUpon receiving the accessory. Two options are available to the customer:
          1. A compensation of 50% if the item is still usable without affecting performance.
          2. Replacement of accessories or parts at no cost.
        2. If reported betweenThe 3rd and the 6thThe customer has two options:
          1. A 50% refund if the item is still usable without affecting performance.

    Eligible for boards under 1 year warranty*:

    1. Broken on the board
      1. Joint detachment from the board
        1. Detachmentminorrepairable by the customer
          1. In the1st monthTwo options are available to the customer after receiving the board.
            1. A compensation of $35 and the customer proceeds to reattach the detached part themselves
            2. The customer comes to the store for a free repair
          2. Between1st month and the 6th monthTwo options are available to the customer after receiving the board.
            1. A compensation of $20 and the customer proceeds to reattach the detached part themselves
            2. The customer comes to the store for a free repair
          3. Between6th and 12th monthfollowing the reception of the board
            1. The customer comes to the store for a free repair

    1. Major detachment
      1. In the first 6 monthsupon receipt of the board.
        1. A replacement of the board at our expense
      2. Between the 6th and the 12ththe month following the receipt of the board
        1. No warranty on major joint detachment

     

    1. Peeling off the non-slip mat
      1. Minor detachmentrepairable by the customer
        1. In the1st monthUpon receiving the board, the customer has two options:
          1. A compensation of $35 and the customer proceeds to reattach the detached part themselves
          2. The customer comes to the store for a free repair
        2. Between1st and 6thThe month following the receipt of the board. Two options are available to the customer:
          1. A compensation of $20 and the customer proceeds to reattach the detached part themselves
          2. The customer comes to the store for a free repair
    • Between6th and 12ththe month following the receipt of the board
      1. No warranty on the detachment of the rug's minor

    1. Major detachment
      1. In the6 first monthsupon receipt of the board.

        1. The customer comes to the store for a free repair. If the repair is not possible, a replacement of the board at our expense.

     

    1. Handle detachment
      1. Minor detachmentrepairable by the customer
        1. In thethe 1st monthUpon receiving the board, the customer has two options:
          1. A compensation of $35 and the customer proceeds to reattach the detached part themselves
          2. The customer comes to the store for a free repair
        2. Between1st month and the 6th monthUpon receiving the board, the customer has two options:
          1. A compensation of $20 and the customer proceeds to reattach the detached part themselves
          2. The customer comes to the store for a free repair
    • Betweenthe 6th and the 12th monthupon receipt of the board
      1. No guarantee on the detachment of minor joints
    1. Major detachment
      1. Inthe first 6 monthsupon receipt of the board.
        1. A replacement of the board at our expense
      2. Betweenthe 6th and the 12th monthupon receipt of the board
        1. The customer comes to the store for a free repair. If the repair is not possible, a replacement of the board at our expense.

     

    1. Accessories detachment
      1. Inthe 1st monthUpon receiving the board, the customer has two options:
        1. A compensation of $20 and the customer proceeds to reattach the detached part themselves
        2. The customer comes to the store for a free repair
      2. BetweenThe 1st month and the 12th monthUpon receiving the board, the customer has two options:
        1. The customer comes to the store for a free repair
    1. Valve
      1. In the6 first monthsupon receipt of the board
        1. A replacement of the board at our expense
      2. Between6emonth and the 12eNext month after receiving the board
        1. The customer comes to the store for a free repair

     

    1. Board deformation
      1. The customer has 3 months after receipt* to report any deformation of the board.
        If reported within the first 3 months, a replacement board will be provided at our expense.

        If received between November 15 and April 1, the 3 months will be calculated from April 1.

     

    Eligible for boards from The Wild Tribe brand:

    1-year warranty: includes all boards that are non-exclusive to the company.

    *3-year warranty: includes all The Wild Tribe boards. Exclusive brand designed by QuébecSUP.

    For all aesthetic defects, refer to article 4 of the "General" section

    All repairs involve risks of slightly affecting the aesthetics of the product. Several products are used and may affect the materials of the board aesthetically and not in terms of quality and performance. We do not guarantee or compensate for these aesthetic effects during a repair.

    All claims must be made by the customer of the order using the email address used during the order in question. It is not possible to file a claim for someone else.
